Closing Ceremony
1:1 Closing Ceremony Apprenticeship
The art of holding women through life’s sacred thresholds
An immersion into Ritual and Rites of Passage.
Held at my home sanctuary in Cornwall
We once marked the thresholds.
We held the women.
We gathered where endings met beginnings.
Now we move alone —
bleeding, birthing, grieving, rising without witness.
This is a soul-led remembering
of how to hold a woman in the in-between —
no longer who she was,
not yet who she’s becoming,
her body howling for homecoming.
No certificate awaits you here.
You are initiated by ritual,
by the women you lay your hands on, rock and wrap,
by the unwavering gaze you hold,
by the sacred thresholds you lovingly witness.
This is the tender art of presence —
with all that is raw, messy, holy and real.
Threshold Tending
A Sacred Wrapping Ritual
For Thresholds, Transitions and Rebirth
This is not a traditional Closing of the Bones ceremony. I’ve never referred to what I offer as that.
I am a white woman from Celtic lands. This ritual did not come to me through a specific lineage, though I bow deeply to the cultures and peoples who carry these sacred traditions. We name and honour the origins of the tools we use — especially the rebozo, a woven cloth from Mexico. You will be encouraged to explore your own ancestral rituals.
What I share was birthed through soul remembrance; a thread from the ancestral field that asked to be woven through my hands. This ceremony draws from ancient midwifery gnosis — womb to tomb
from the wrapping of the dead
to the cocooning of the grieving
to the swaddling of the baby and the binding of the mother.
Across cultures and continents, women have always been wrapped, held and enclosed after major life transitions. Postpartum. Grief. Endings. Identity shifts.
The need to be witnessed and brought back to centre is universal and timeless.
Rites of Passage
Rites of passage honour the significant transitions and thresholds in our lives — moments when we move from one stage of identity or experience into another. These ceremonies help us process change, integrate transformation and receive witnessing and loving support.
Historically, rites of passage were woven into the fabric of community life. Every culture had ceremonies for birth, puberty, marriage, grief, initiation and death. These rituals held profound psychological, emotional and spiritual functions — helping individuals feel seen, held and guided through liminal space, where the old self dissolves and the new self emerges.
Today, many of these rites have been lost or diluted. We often move through life’s major transitions privately or without ceremony, missing vital opportunities for reflection, healing and belonging. Without these sacred markers, changes can feel disorienting, incomplete or isolating. This loss disconnects us from our deeper rhythms, ancestral wisdom and the support of our communities.
This is a body-led apprenticeship in the art of threshold tending.
Not just for postpartum but for all the moments a woman is rebirthed—
through loss, change, identity shifts, trauma, creativity.
This ritual offers a homecoming.
Restoring Rites of Passage
WHAT THIS APPRENTICESHIP OFFERS
This apprenticeship is not a step by step method. It is an intuitive, relational transmission; alive, responsive to the moment, rather than a fixed formula. Over three days, you will learn through your body-mind, through presence, through the alchemy of being both held and holding. You will be guided to listen deeply to the woman before you, honour your own lineage, work with sacred tools respectfully and embody ritual through presence.
You will be guided into:
Threshold tending — how to meet women in their raw, liminal spaces
Creating a ceremonial field for transformation — altars, opening sacred space and energetic hygiene
Whole body rebozo techniques: rocking, stretching and wrapping
Womb and abdominal tending — massage, moxibustion, fascial releases, Celtic womb blessing
Priestess presence — responding to the unfolding moment
You will leave with:
The embodied skill to offer this ceremony in a way that is safe, sacred and your own
A deeper trust in your hands, your body, your intuitive intelligence
The priestess art of tending to another’s becoming
The Gifts of a 1:1 Apprenticeship
This is an intimate container - crafted entirely around you.
This is a highly personalised, hands on approach where you will:
• Receive full presence, direct guidance and honest feedback from me
• Engage in intensive hands-on practice, both giving and receiving
• Be supported to self-initiate into your own unique, embodied, devotional touch
My full presence is devoted to you throughout the immersion. I respond to your body, nervous system and learning style. You receive bespoke guidance shaped by your experience, questions and edges, rather than being asked to fit into a fixed curriculum.
This is a living apprenticeship shaped through relationship.
Held as a fully immersive,
residential apprenticeship.
For the duration of our time together, there is nowhere else to be and nothing else to hold. You stay in my home sanctuary, are nourished with organic, homemade meals and are guided through a spacious rhythm that allows the work to land in your body rather than rush through.
By removing daily travel, distractions and external demands, this 1:1 apprenticeship creates the conditions for real embodiment, deep transmission and integration.
THE JOURNEY
Each day will run 9-4pm
Day One | Receiving the Ritual, Rites of Passage
The morning invites you to receive the Closing Ceremony — not as a student but as an initiate; allowing the ritual to imprint in your body, your bones, your soul.
In the afternoon we journey into the heart of ritual and rites of passage. We will explore the cycles, seasons and wheels of womanhood and the art of holding women at their thresholds.
Day Two | Womb Tending, Rocking & Wrapping
We explore weaving a container and how to shape a ceremonial flow from its opening breath to its closing seal.
You will learn the language of the rebozo with whole-body rocking and wrapping.
We then move into the chalice of the womb. I will share comprehensive womb tending techniques: moxibustion, abdominal and womb massage, fascial and accupressure releases, Celtic womb blessing.
We attune to the energetic contours of sacred space — exploring the invisible threads that hold ceremony.
Day Three | Offering and Integration
This is your day of sharing all that you have received. You will offer the full Closing Ceremony to me.
In the afternoon we reflect and integrate. We tend to the soul threads this work has woven within you.
We will explore pre-and post-ceremony client care and the importance of tending to your vessel to be able to offer this work.
We also open the conversation around your relationship to money and receiving for this sacred work. I will offer my insights on how to effectively and authentically share and market this medicine work.
Closing Ceremony Investment: £2222
This investment includes:
✦ Three full days of my dedicated guidance, teaching and presence
✦ Four nights accommodation in my beautiful guest room with private en suite bath
✦ Three organic, homemade, high vibrational meals per day
The Closing Ceremony is held as a fully immersive experience. Everything is taken care of around the learning so you can arrive, soften and devote yourself fully to the work.
Ceremonial Tools
To offer the Closing Ceremony, seven rebozos are required.
Rebozos are ancient ceremonial allies, woven prayerfully by women in Mexico across generations. They are essential tools within the Closing Ceremony bodywork sequences and rites of passage practices.
I can source authentic rebozos directly from Mexican weavers at £50 each, totalling £350.
Booking and Payment
A £555 non-refundable deposit is required to secure your dates.
Payment plans are available for the remaining balance, with full payment completed prior to our work together.
To enquire, please email me and I will share an application form so we can discern whether this work is aligned. If it is, I will then invite you to a connection call. As this work is held 1:1, my availability is extremely limited. I am typically booked 3-6 months in advance.
Meet your guide
Welcome sister. I am Amy Rose.
I serve at the altar of womanhood, walking the spiral path of Earth, Blood, Womb and Soma.
I walk beside women through the great initiations of life, holding and witnessing their reclamation, their rage and their radiance. I tend the fires of transformation and welcome women home to remembrance and liberation.
My work invites women to ignite the priestess within, to remember the feminine temples that live in their hearts and hands and to seed this wisdom back into their communities.
My gift is attunement. I see you.
Women come to me to be deeply met and guided back into their embodied authority, sensuality and eros.
I midwife what is ancient, embodied and ready to return.
Ancient earth wisdom lives in my Capricorn bones and the heart-fire of the lioness pours through all my offerings.
I was born on Mother’s Night, deep in the womb of winter, a time of darkness, gestation and rebirth. This is the womb of my work.
I am a rooted woman of the Earth and a channel for the Goddess… fully human and fully divine.
